Matt is returning this week from the Edinburgh fringe festival, a solo run of shows at the Soho Theatre London and touring Asia with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow.
You should come and watch him and a legendary comedian Subby Valentine peal the paint of the walls at Happy Endings! Most recently seen on Can of Worms (ch10) and in 2012, a Cleo Bachelor of the year contender.
Matt started comedy as a national Triple J RAW finalist in 2004, at the age of 18, after only 3 previous gigs (those being the preliminary stages of the competition!) Matt took out the Brisbane New Comic of the Year competition and Winning the Rove Live/Snickers Golden Nut Competition. He followed this with a sell-out show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival (2008) and was flown to Miami as part of NBC's hit show, "Last Comic Standing".
His 2011 Sydney Comedy Festival show, Being Black N Chicken N Shit, was nominated for Time Out's Local Comedy Show of the Year, and Matt was also nominated in the same awards for 2011 Sydney Comedian of the Year

MC Subby Valentine, one of Sydney's most experienced, versatile and successful comedians. His improvisational style has been a hit in comedy rooms both here and internationally. Subby's TV appearances include Rove Live, The Footy Show, The Glasshouse and stand up Australia, amongst many others. He has also worked extensively in radio, including hosting a Sydney Breakfast show on MIX 106.5, a night show on Triple M (with Tom Gleeson) and various assignments on Triple J. Subby can currently be heard regularly on 'Thank God It's Friday', the popular weekly wrap up on Richard Glover's drive program on 702 ABC Sydney.
