I'm treating you to double life models twice this month! First off we have Brittany and Pani, a spouse life model duo, who will be delighting us with dyamic and intertwined poses. Brit is red-headed, and alabaster-skinned, and her husband Pani is dark and athletic. A dream duo I think you'll agree. Also, come along on March 22nd for the second duo drawing session, with Pete and Fran (and their 32 week in utero baby!!!). Join us at our weekly life drawing sessions at Summerhall's Anatomy Lecture Theatre, Wednesdays 7-9pm (doors 6.45). It's drop-in, £6 on the door, or you can pre book via Eventbrite for a guaranteed seat. There's no tutoring per se but we welcome all ages and stages, and I (Topaz) will be on hand to give help to those who want it. We'll provide the models and drawing boards, and there's materials to buy and to borrow, though you're welcome to bring your favoured paraphernalia. There'll be good tunes during the drawing and good chat during the breaks and you're welcome to pop to the bar anytime and even bring your bevvy through (brownie points for bringing a keep cup!). Each week we'll have our wonderful models in a lightly themed set-up: nude enough to engage simply with the figure, yet quirky enough to explore the themed approach if inspiration strikes: check out for the full schedule. We also run life drawing/performance art/workshop sessions once a month. Sometimes more, sometimes less experimental, always something new, different, surprising. Materials are included in the ticket price for these sessions, and I provide a bar for additional tipples, and some nibbles to soak it all up.Looking forward to welcoming you at some nude situation soon,Topaz xxDrawing by Poppea Daniel, of myself, Topaz, and Sam Overington, at Adrian Dutton's life drawing group in London.
