Hope for Recovery Spend a day with a trained family member who will offer information, hope, and practical strategies for dealing with the complexities of mental illnesses.   WHAT WILL PARTICIPANTS LEARN? Participants will gain knowledge about various illnesses, coping and communication strategies, navigating the mental health system, local resources, and recovery. WHO SHOULD TAKE THE COURSE? This class is intended for people who have a family member or friend living with a mental illness, and their loved one who is in a good place in their mental health recovery. This class is not intended to be professional development.     NOTE: Lunch is not provided as part of the workshop. Participants may bring a bagged lunch.     NAMI Minnesota Cancellation Policy NAMI Minnesota thanks you for registering to attend one of our classes.  We understand that unforeseen situations arise and you may need to cancel your registration.  If you are unable to attend, a substitute individual is welcome to attend in your place, but NAMI Minnesota must be notified in writing (e-mail is acceptable) with the name and contact information for the person who will be attending. NAMI Minnesota reserves the right to cancel any event, conference or class due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If there is a cancellation, participants will be notified by telephone and/or email as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.
