Spring Fling Beach Bash packs in last-minute winter fun — Sat. March 11

(Breaking news: there WILL be a Water Skip!)

WHAT: As another season comes to a close, we have to ask ourselves: Did we wring every possible drop of fun out of the mountain this season? Just to make sure the answer is “Hell yeah!” we’re throwing one last major party at Afton Alps.

For Afton’s Spring Fling Beach Bash, guest will enjoy games on the runs and plenty of entertainment around the lodge. Put the spirit of competition to the test during Afton Alps’ 10,000 Lakes Rail Jam—or just watch the jibbers pulling off gnarly moves. Team up with a pal for the Scavenger hunt—skiers and snowboarders only! Be one of the top three teams in order to win a prize.

We’ll also be throwing a Dough in the Snow contest—register to be one of 50 lucky diggers who will have a chance to pull some dough out of the powder.

Kids will love the face painter and the colorful Obstacle Course we’re setting up on their turf. Those over 13 are welcome to test their skills in the not-to-be-missed Water Skip run. And when everyone is worn out, the lodge is hosting live beachy music, an outdoor bar (with tiki drinks!) and our own Afton Alps food truck.

Extra prizes for skiers in beach wear!
