Broadway Singer Michael Williams will perform live at Central Library with Charles Duke as the Music Director! About Michael Williams Michael Williams attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and received a BFA in dance with emphasis on ballet. He has trained with Columbia City Ballet, the Alvin Ailey American dance school, Brandywine Ballet Company, Scott Jovovich, and Twyla Tharp. Michael’s Broadway credits include the revival of West Side Story, Wicked, and On the Town. He is currently working on the brand new Broadway show Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. About Charles Duke Charles Duke, Music Director, is an award-winning songwriter, classically trained pianist, singer and composer residing in Harlem. His work fuses jazz, soul, pop, and classical elements with engaging lyrical imagery. He has performed at the Lincoln Center, in Sleep No More and for the NYCLU’s Broadway Stands Up For Freedom. As a pianist, he has been regularly engaged at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Robert Restaurant at Columbus Circle. Charles has produced and released four EPs and is currently working on his first album. Tickets Purchase Policy Queens Library programs are a free to the public. In order to make the programs available to the most number of people we are limiting general admission free tickets to 2 per individual. Multiple orders per individual are not allowed and will be cancelled. This policy ensures that no-shows are reduced and tickets are available to the most number of people.
